1. Celebrating 10 years of the Sustainable Development Fund

The Sustainable Development Fund supports socio-economic impact in the regions SSE Renewables operates.

2. Building community capacity in Angus

The Seagreen Community Fund is supporting costal communities in Angus - this video highlights the impact of the Tealing Development Trust.

The Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm is a joint venture between TotalEnergies and SSE Renewables.

10 years of SDF

This report, published in November 2023, shows the impact of the £13.4 million invested by the Sustainable Development Fund during the first 10 years of delivery. The report includes the Social Return on Investment and results of recipient research. The Sustainable Development Fund is supported by the Dunmaglass and Stronelairg Wind Farm joint venture partners SSE Renewables and Greencoat UK Wind PLC.

Dogger Bank Community Fund Evaluation

The independent evaluation, published in March 2024, by Ekosgen shows the impact of the £1 million invested by Dogger Bank in STEM attainment. Dogger Bank Wind Farm is a joint venture partnership between SSE Renewables, Equinor and Vårgrønn.

Beatrice Impact Report

This report, published March 2023, shows that the Beatrice Community Fund invested £6 million in the local communities during the construction and operation of the offshore wind farm. The report highlights the impact of the wind farm on local jobs, skills creation and enhancing community assets. The report also highlights the impact of the investments against the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Sutherland Report

This report, published April 2021, shows that our Strathy North, Achany, Gordonbush and Gordonbush Extension wind farms in Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland will contribute over £23.1 million to local communities.
