The Government has published a detailed draft of the contract that will be offered investors in low-carbon energy generation through the new Contracts for Difference mechanism.
Commenting on the publication, a spokesperson for SSE said:
"We welcome the publication of draft contract for difference terms and other details of EMR today. We hope, in time, to develop a clearer picture of whether or not the new CfD mechanism will become investable. However, there is a significant amount to work through and digest before we have a full and clear understanding of all the implications."
