SSE Renewables was delighted to sponsor Shetland’s first ever Pride festival on Saturday, with hundreds of people taking to the streets to show their support for the LGBTQ+ community and celebrate equality and inclusivity for all.
As part of the sponsorship, SSE Renewables brought prominent Scottish drag artists, Lily Minogue and RuJazzle, from Glasgow to Shetland to perform at the inaugural festival.
SSE Renewables is one of the island’s biggest employers through the construction of the new Viking Wind Farm.
