Athea Wind Farm
The 34MW 16 turbine Athea Wind Farm in West Limerick, Ireland, has been producing green energy since 2014.
It is located approximately 6km to the north of Abbeyfeale, close to the village of Athea.
Athea can power around 23,000 homes and mitigate around 28,000 tonnes of harmful carbon dioxide per annum*.

Through our Tournafulla, Rathcahill, Dromada, and Athea wind farms in West Limerick, and Lenamore Wind Farm in North Kerry we make almost €250,000 per year available for community projects.
