Dunneill Wind Farm is located near Dromorewest, Co. Sligo.

The 11MW wind farm comprises 13 turbines and entered commercial operation in 2010. Dunneill can power almost 7,500 homes^ and help abate around 9,000 tonnes of harmful carbon dioxide* per annum.

Dunneill was granted planning permission in March 2004 to expire in 2024, a period of 20 years. In 2023, Dunneill Wind Farm received planning permission to extend its operational life by a further 15 years to 2039.

Through the Kingsmountain and Dunneill Wind Farms in Co. Sligo we make around €40,000 per year available for local projects promoting energy efficiency and social sustainability through our Community Fund programme.
